Main Sewer Line Cleanout

The City of Dallas hired Acme Utility Inspection Services, Inc. (Dallas, TX (972) 247-7741) to wash out and conduct a robotic camera inspection of the main sewer line at Lakes of Bent Tree. This is the second time in 4 years the lines have been cleaned and scoped.

Regular cleaning of sewer lines is done to improve the reliability of the wastewater system. Over time, things like grease, tree roots, trash, and dirt can build up inside the pipes. If not cleaned out, these blockages can cause serious problems, such as backups that could flood streets or units with raw sewage.

Cleaning the lines ensures the wastewater flows properly and prevents costly and unpleasant issues.

All owners are reminded to do the same periodically to avoid serious problems. One homeowner spent $30,000 in 2023 to recover a severe blockage related to grease and other wastes.
