Have ballots been mailed out? Where can we find an online ballot prior to the annual meeting?
ReplyDeleteVoting will be held online for 14 days following the meeting so that all owners can participate and there is no need for proxies.
DeleteHow do we go online and vote?
DeleteI've been watching this page and checking e-mails to see if I can vote for new board members, etc. I assume the online ballot is coming. Thanks!
DeleteFACT CHECK: Texas Representative Carol Alvarado authored House Bill 1823 in 2010, establishing a fairness doctrine for HOAs, which became law in 2011. As such, condo owners can not be denied the right to vote if they didn't pay dues, have outstanding HOA violations, don't live in the community, didn't pay taxes, are in prison, etc. There is a simple pathway via the justice of the peace court to have any such claims investigated.
ReplyDeleteRumors that voters will be disqualified or have been disqualified are not valid.
