TollTag Reader Out of Service Starting Monday
From July 8 through July 17, 2024, the Westgrove gate will not be able to read TollTags. During this time residents will need to use the keypad, their phone (CellGate app), or the Knoll Trail TollTag reader gate to enter.
The North Texas Toll Authority (NTTA) is now issuing eGOplus-mini RFID (see photo above). Our Transcore Encompass-4 readers must be upgraded to process this new type of RFID tag. The association was aware that the NTTA was planning a technology change when the gate was installed (March 2023) and purchased equipment that could be upgraded ($700) rather than replaced ($6,000).
The Knoll Trail TollTag reader will be out for updating from July 16 - 26, 2024. During that time, residents will need to use their phone (CellGate app) or the Westgrove TollTag reader gate to enter.
After the upgrade, the gate will be capable of reading both new and old style tags. Residents will not need to update their TollTags to the new format.

DeleteAnyone else having problems with the Cellgate app recently? It worked a couple weeks ago, but when I tried to use it when Westgrove gate was down, it just shows a white screen and doesn't get any further.
